Egyptian Water Resources face three critical issues scarcity, quality deterioration, and aging infrastructure and control systems. The challenge of implementing engineering solutions is identifying the appropriate technology and overcoming region-specific, social, and economic hurdles. The National Water Research Center is a leading institution that dedicates its researches to employ advanced technology in facing the challenges of water resources and management. NWRC is completely aware that its researches should be spin-off its research agenda and highly appreciate the role of high tech and industry in the field of water resources management. For this reason, NWRC together with the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation in Egypt and Utah State University (USA) are organizing an international conference titled “Research and Technology Development for Water Resources Management”.
